Before Deep Energy, we relied on slow and highly reductive data processing in spread sheets that, honestly, didn’t accurately calculate demand. The resultant gap between engineering decisions and financial implications needed to be brought together.

We developed a database-driven AI+ML micro econometric software solution that solved the problem.

Where it began

Engaged in an R&D partnership with CSIRO Energy and the NSW Education Department during 2019-2022, we found an urgent need to develop software to model the benefits of on-site electrical generation, storage and demand flexibility.

To deal with the scale of the portfolio it was important to have a workflow that leveraged data-driven approaches including AI+ML rather than relying solely on valuable, yet time-consuming, building energy models.

Our mission

We are excited to provide a powerful online software solution built on new and emerging international standards to assist with the transition to renewable energy sources.

We bring together financial and engineering concepts together by allowing for the rapid creation of business cases based on targets, hypotheses or stated performance for energy conservation, emissions reduction and demand flexibility projects.
